Robert Pattinson On Launching Music Career After Twilight: "Maybe One Day" - Audio

The actor tells Capital FM that he might consider picking up guitar again now film franchise has finished.

Robert Pattinson has hinted that he might pursue a music career now that The Twilight Saga has ended.

The actor attended the red carpet premiere for the final movie Breaking Dawn: Part 2 in London last night (15th November).

Before he secured the role as vampire Edward Cullen in the film franchise, Robert had been performing live as a musician and one of his songs also featured on the soundtrack to the first film.

It was also reported in 2010 that Simon Cowell was considering offering the actor-musician a recording contract.

Speaking to Capital FM, Robert said he would consider picking up his interest in music again.

"Yeah, maybe one day," he said. "I'm always playing and stuff, so yeah, maybe."

Meanwhile, the actor admitted that he would miss The Twilight Saga and its premieres , which last night saw 5,000 fans in London's Leicester Square.

"Absolutely, it's such a unique perspective that I've got on life now," he said. "Very few people get to experience this – it's been fun, it's been exciting."

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 is released in cinemas around the world this weekend.
