The mishap happened during a regional event where one girl was picked to go on to compete at the national beauty pageant in Brazil, and the judges accidentally put the crown on Leticia Cappatto’s head…
Well, it ALL went wrong from there – the crown fell off her head, the judges realised their mistake and whipped the crown away from her and did a whole awkward to-ing and fro-ing with it before presenting it to the other finalist, Karliany Barbosa.
Poor old Leticia’s face was a PICTURE – and she definitely did not want to accept her second place sash. Yikes. Either way, it makes for pretty brilliant viewing!
