Woman Charged After Baby Found In Bury Garden

A woman has been charged by Greater Manchester Police after a newborn baby was found in the front garden of a house.

The baby girl was found wrapped in a shawl in the front garden of the house on Tinline Street in Bury at 11.15am on Monday 6th September 2010.

26 year old Fatima Ali from Alfred Street in Bury, has been charged with concealing a live birth and neglect offences under the Section 1of the Children and Young Persons' Act.
