Teenager Threatened With Knife In Bury

CCTV images of man police want to talk to after a 14 year old boy was robbed on the Metrolink.

A man gets on at the Radcliffe stop pushing a scooter and then tells the schoolboy to give him his phone - before pulling a knife from his sleeve and hodling it to the boy's throat.

The boy handed over his Sony Ericsson Experia phone and the offender further threatened to assault him if he told anyone about the robbery.

It happened back on the 6th of September.

Detective Constable Dave Potter, of Bury CID, said: “Everyone has the right to use public transport without fear of being threatened and robbed and I want the public to help me identify the culprit.

“The victim has been left understandably upset and if anyone thinks they know the person responsible
please get in touch.”
