Take That Not Changing Routine After Mechanical Blip

Take That will not be changing their concert routine after a mechanical mishap left Howard and Mark stranded in the hands of a massive robot during Saturday's concert at the City of Manchester Stadium.

The pair were stuck after the robot's mechanical arms failed to lower them to the stage to re-join their bandmates towards the end of the concert on Saturday.

They eventually had to be helped down by roadies using ladders.

The 100ft figure, which is called Om, forms part of the backdrop to the band's spectacular comeback tour.

A spokesman for the group said: "It did stop in motion at the end of Love Love but the matter was resolved and by the end of the show he was standing tall again.

"There is no guarantee that with a mechanical structure the size of Om there will be no recurrence at some point but all seems fine now."
