Police have charged 3 people after claims they helped police killer Dale Cregan and two other men who were on the run.

41 year old Marvin Herbert was charged yesterday, Friday 4 October 2013, at Manchester City Magistrates Court with conspiracy to assist an offender.

He has been remanded into custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 18 October 2013.

That was after a 41-year-old man was arrested by police in the Costa del Sol area and extradition proceedings were put in place. The man arrived back in the UK on Thursday 3 October 2013.

On Friday 4 October 2013, Raj Mohammed Khan from Clifford Close, Bradford and Patricia Kelly of St Kilders Avenue, Droylsden, were charged with conspiracy to assist an offender.

Khan and Kelly are appearing at Manchester Magistrates Court on Saturday 5 October.

The charges for all three relate to the period between 10 August 2012 and 17 September 2012, when Dale Cregan, Anthony Wilkinson and Jermaine Ward were wanted by police in Greater Manchester.
