Man Charged After Rabbit Tortured In Eccles

A man has been charged after a rabbitwas tortured in Eccles.

Adam Gregg from Salford's is charged with causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal and using words or behaviour to cause harrassment, alarm or distress.

He's due before Magistrates later.

At about 11.30am on Saturday 18 June, police were called to the Eccles Cross pub on Regent Street, following a report of cruelty to a rabbit.

Officers found the rabbit, which had been set alight. Its neck had also been broken.
