Workers at BAE Systems in Lancashire are facing an anxious wait over their futures.

Workers at BAE Systems in Lancashire are facing an anxious wait over their futures.

Up to three thousand jobs could go at two sites - including Warton in Lancaster.

It's all because of big government cuts to defence spending.

The firm - which makes Typhoon fighter jets -  issued a statement suggesting production 'will be slowed.'

It's expected to make an annoucement next week.

The announcement follows previous cuts announced at Woodford in Stockport.
