RULES

  1. The following rules (“Specific Rules”) together with the general competition terms and conditions (which can be found at www.capitalfm.com/london/terms-conditions) (the “Competition Terms and Conditions”) of Global (as defined in the Competition Terms and Conditions) apply to the ‘Victor Frankenstein’ radio competition (the “Competition") which will run from Wednesday 25th November – Thursday 3rdth December 2015 on Capital London.
  2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have read and accepted the Specific Rules and Competition Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.

Details of the Competition:

  1. To enter the competition you must register at capitalfm.com. Online registration will open at 10:15am on Wednesday 25th November 2015 and close at 9am on Thursday 3rd December 2015.
  2. Entrants must register their personal details and the details of a friend whom they will play the competition with.
  3. One registered entrant and their nominated partner, will be selected each day and brought to air where they will both be required to talk to the presenter(s), answer the given competition question correctly.
  4. If the caller fails to answer a return call from Global, is driving at the time of the call and is unable to pull over or cannot continue the call for any reason the call may be terminated and another Entrant selected at random.
  5. There will be five entrants (and their nominated partner) brought to air (one for each day of the competition). Capital London will telephone the entrant and they must play over the phone to win.  Phone calls may be pre-recorded.
  6. The entrant must answer one question correctly to win. They will be told while they are on-air if they have won.
  7. If the entrant/s answers correctly they will be awarded the prize. The presenters will ask the entrant if they would like.
  8. If the entrant gets the question incorrectly the next entrant will be randomly selected.

Eligibility:

  1. Must be aged 18 years or over.
  2. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Competition.

Prize:

  1. The winning entrant must choose between the two prize options given to them during the on-air competition by the presenter. Specific terms & conditions for individual prizes below.
  2. Global reserves the right to substitute the prize with another prize at its absolute discretion.

 

Prize Terms and Conditions:

1.A:

Ultimate Ibiza Adventure for two

Prize Includes:

  • Return flights for two people from the UK to Ibiza, Spain

Prize Terms and conditions for Ultimate Adventure:

  1. Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser and excludes Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Easter, July, August, the first two weeks of September and Bank Holidays (both UK and Spain).
  2. Departure airport used will be dependent on the direct availability from the winners nearest available international airport, which may not necessarily be the closest. Non UK passports holders may need a visa for this destination, which they should arrange with the Embassy at their own expense. Includes all taxes and surcharges. 

  3. Transfers will be private and not shared with other passengers. 

  4. Hotel is classed as a 4 Star and is based on two people sharing a twin or double room (winner’s choice) with en suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. 

  5. Entrance is based on a right of admission-reserved policy. Entrance to the venue cannot be guaranteed and is at the doorman’s discretion, people must be 
aged 18 and over. Passport ID may be required. 

  6. Travel insurance is subject to normal terms of acceptance. Pre-existing medical conditions may not be covered. No age restrictions apply. 

  7. All prizes must be claimed and booked by the prize-winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.

Prize Includes:

  • Bills paid for 12 consecutive months

Terms and Conditions: 

  1. Bills paid for a year will be based on 1x monthly maximum payments of £225.00 paid directly into the winner's bank account for 12x consecutive months. 

  2. All prizes must be claimed by the prize-winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.

 

2.A

Skiing In Austria for two

Prize Includes:

  • Return flights for two people from London to Salzburg, Austria between Saturday 19 – Saturday 26 March 2016 

  • Return transfers from the airport to the accommodation

Prize Terms and conditions for Skiing For In Austria:

 

  1. Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser and must be between Saturday 19 – Saturday 26 March 2016. 

  2. Flights will be from London Gatwick. Non UK passports holders may need a visa for this destination, which they should arrange with the Embassy at their own 
expense. Includes all taxes and surcharges. 

  3. Transfers are not private and may be shared with other passengers. 

  4. Hotel is classed as a 4 Star and is based on two people sharing a twin room with en-suite bathroom on a half board basis. Includes: hot and cold buffet 
breakfast, afternoon snack, 4-course evening meals with a choice of main course and daily salad buffet, vegetarian options, complimentary soft drink, juices, 
water, coffee and tea (10am-9pm). Happy hour in the umbrella bar three times a week - first drink free. 

  5. Ski and boot hire will be standard and sizes will be subject to availability. 

  6. Ski lessons are subject to availability and will be either beginner or intermittent depending on winner's experience. 


 

2.B

Rent Paid For 3 Months

Prize Includes:

  • Rent paid for 3 x consecutive months

Terms and Conditions:

  1. Rent paid for 3x consecutive months will be based on a maximum monthly payment into the winner’s bank account towards their monthly rent or mortgage up to the maximum value of £900.00.
  2. If winner’s rent/mortgage is less than £900.00 a month, the remaining funds will be contributed towards their rent/mortgage for an extended period until the maximum total funds of £2,700.00 is exhausted.
  3. Winner will be required to show a copy of their tenancy agreement or mortgage payments to verify their eligibility for the prize. 

  4. All prizes must be claimed by the prize-winner within 12 months from the date of our initial correspondence with them.

  1. Travel is subject to availability at the discretion of the organiser and excludes Christmas, New Year, Valentines, Easter, School holidays and Bank Holidays. 

  2. Chauffeur travel will be based on one return journey within the M25 from one pick up location. Should the winner live outside of London, train travel into London will be provided with return private transfers from the station. 

  3. Hotel is classed as 5 Star and will be based on two people sharing a twin or double room (winner’s choice) with en-suite bathroom on a bed and breakfast basis. 

  4. Dinner will be based on two adults enjoying a three-course meal from the a la carte menu including 1⁄2 bottle of house wine, mineral water and coffee. 

  5. Drinks at the Oblix bar will be based on a £100.00 bar tab.
