Winter warmer

It's got to that time of year when leaving without a coat, hat, scarf, gloves, thermal underwear, string vest, snow boots etc. is unthinkable. It's hard to look cool with all these clothes on but we have some fantastic shops in town that sell excellent winter weather wear. We'll have to wrapped up and still looking sexy in no time.

Here are some of the top spots to pick up your essential winter wardrobe.

If you fancy something a little bit different Junky Styling is the place you should be heading to. They reinvent clothes making them from recycled materials and we think they are pretty damn cool. They do a 'Hooded suit scarf' which will keep your head nice and toast and is a great alternative if your not a hat fan.

One of our favourite places to get something really warm is North Face with a huge selection of outer wear that even if it's not that sexy, it's really cool. Anoraks with a secret fleece lining, yes anoraks are cool again - just don't tell your dad! It's great for the boys if they need something over their suits and most of the stuff in here is water proof.

One of the best places for a slinky winter warmer is in Zara and our favourite store is in Brent Cross. It's big enough to have a great selection of guys and girls coats without it being so big that you get lost trying to find your way to the dressing room. From smart coats to woolly jumpers, Zara is a hit on our list.

Uniqlo is really on trend at the moment with there rainbow selection of puffa jackets. They’re great for the fashion victim in you, along with the voices of reason that say that dress is a little to skimpy to wear on a night out without long Johns on.
