RULES
The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio plc's ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at www.capitalfm.com) apply to ‘Ministry of Sound – Pump it up Aeroburn’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from on Monday 5th January (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is 95.8 Capital FM.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
1. Details of the Competition
1.1 To enter the Competition an Entrant must call 0207 48 48 958 (the “Telephone Line”). Telephone calls will be charged at standard network rates. The opening and closing times of the Telephone Line will be given out on air. Entrants are selected at random. Whichever entrant has reached line 8 of the 12 available in the studio will be selected to talk to the presenter and a call will be recorded with the presenter on-air. If any fault occurs immediately prior to or during recording and it is not possible to re-establish contact with the caller, another line will be selected at random. This line may not necessarily be line 8. Two more reserve callers will also be picked by the telephone system at random.
1.2 When the entrant hears the trigger song, they call the number as per 1.1. Once through – they are given 10 seconds to name 5 items from a topic given to them on air. The answers will be at the discretion of the producer of the show. If they fail – the first reserve caller will be taken to air and asked to complete the same task. Answers from the previous caller can be repeated by the reserve caller (ie if the entrant is asked to name ‘5 things you would find in a Christmas dinner’ – and the first entrant answers “Turkey” only, the second entrant can also use the answer “Turkey.”
1.3 The winner who names 5 items from the given topic within 10 seconds will be the winner.
2. Eligibility
2.1 The entrant must be 16 with at least 1 guest being aged 18 and over.
3. Prize
3.1 The winning entrant will win a 1 hour “Pump it Up” Fitness class for themselves and 2 guests at the Ministry of Sound Nightclub in London on a date and time to be agreed by the entrant and the Ministry of Sound team. Although this is a VIP event – it is not exclusive and may involve other competition winners. The winning entrant will also receive 3 copies of the Ministry of Sound ‘Pump it Up Aeroburn’ Fitness DVD. Global Radio reserves the right to substitute the prize – there is no cash alternative.

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at www.capitalfm.com apply to ‘Money Monday’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 1st January 2009 to 23rd February 2009 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Capital FM.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
1) Details of the Competition
1.1 To enter the Competition an Entrant must
a) Send a text message with a key word, which will be supplied on air each week, to the “Text Message Line” 83958, Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. The Text Message line opening and closing times will be given out on air.
1.2 The competition will be open for entries during one hour of the Capital Drive show. Listeners will be told when this time is on air during the lead up to competition lines opening. Listeners will be told to text in the day’s codeword. All entries with the daily keyword will be counted in the competition. Entries will receive an automated text bounce back telling entrants their entry has been successful and that if they win, they will receive a second text message.
1.3 After the entry hour, when lines have closed, 50 winners will be selected at random and will be sent a special winning text message. The text message will instruct them to visit a secret page of the Capital FM website where they will be able to register their details.
1.4 The winning text message will give a deadline date 14 days after the competition date, winners must enter the details online by this date or they will be deemed invalid.
1.5 When registering their details winners must submit the same mobile number as the one they used to enter. This will be used for validation of legitimate winners, not being able to supply a mobile number that corresponds to a winning one will result in a submission being invalid.
2) Eligibility
2.1 Entrants under the age of 16 will require a letter from their parent or guardian authorizing the cheque to be issued in their name.
2.2 Only one entry per person (mobile number) will be counted in the competition
3) Prize
3.1 Each Monday £5000 will be won, 50 winners will win £100 from a total prize fund of £40,000
3.2 Regardless of the amount the bill listeners would like to be paid, they will be sent a cheque for £100.

Launch promotion
1.2 Captain Johnny will be a daily feature from Monday 5th January 2009 – Friday 9th January 2009 in the Capital breakfast show - this is the ‘launch promotion’
Johnny Vaughan will pretend to be a pilot landing in the daily destination. Information will be given about the destination and then a question will be asked relating to this information and the destination. Listeners will have to text in the answer from a multiple choice given.
Drive promotion
The Captain Johnny mechanic will then run in the Capital Drive show from Monday 12th January to Friday 16th January and shall be known as Drive Promotion
1.3 Winners will be determined at random from the correct answers.
2) Eligibility
2.1 Winners must be over 18
Winners must have valid passports and visas where necessary
Winners must be contactable via email in order to be able to book their flights. Email addresses to not have to be their own but no other way of booking is available.
3) Prize
3.1 Launch promotion, winners will receive:

a) Go online and click on the Role Models button which will take them to www.seefilmfirst.com where they will be asked to enter the code hosted on the station button for the chance to win. Entry will open at 9am on Monday 1st Jan and close at midnight on the last day of the Competition.
1.2 Winners will be selected at random and all entrants will be notified by Universal by phone.
2) Prize
2.1 a share of 100 pairs of tickets to a preview screening of the film ‘Role Models’ on January 8th 2009. All successful entries will also be entered into a 2nd competition for the chance to win a meet and greet with one of the stars of the film ‘Role Models’ Sean William Scott at the screening.

If any fault occurs immediately prior to or during these calls and it is not possible to re-establish contact with the caller, another line will be selected at random. 1.3 Winners will be notified by the presenter on-air or the show producer on how to obtain their tickets.

The "Radio Station" is 95.8 Capital FM.
Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
1) Details of the Competition
1.1 To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message starting with the keyword “special’ to 83958 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. The Text Message Line will open for the first round of entries at 6am on 20th December and close at 4pm on the 26th. Winners will be selected throughout this period with the final winner being chosen after 4pm on the 26th. The Text Message Line will re-open for the second round of entries at 5pm December 26th and will close at 4pm on January 1st. Winners will be selected throughout this period with the final winner being chosen after 4pm on the 1st.
1.2 Listeners will be invited to text the key word ‘Special’ to the station short code and nominate someone who is working this Christmas who they feel deserves a special treat at this time of year. A deserving entrant, as judged by Capital production staff, will be picked out of the entries. Winning nominees will be called up and awarded with £500 to treat themselves and a hamper and a crate of Diet Coke and Coca Cola.
1.3 The winners will be judged by the station based on who provides the most deserving and or entertaining story. The winners will be called and announced on air.
2) Prize
2.1 £500 cash plus a food hamper containing an assortment of seasonal food and 1 x 24 case of 330ml Diet Coke and 1 x 24 case of 330ml Coca Cola.
. There will be a total of 12 x prizes awarded during ‘Round 1’. Which will be announced during the 24th, 25th and 26th December. There will be a total of 8 x prizes awarded during ‘Round 2’ which will be announced during the 31st December 2008 and 1st January 2009.
3) Eligibility
3.1 For the first round nominees will need to be working during the ‘Christmas Period’, for the purposes of this competition ‘Christmas Period’ refers to December 24th, 25th and 26th. For the second round nominees will need to be working over the ‘New Year’, for the purposes of this competition ‘New Year’ refers to December 31st 2008 and January 1st 2009.
3.2 Entrants cannot nominate themselves.
3.3 In order to be awarded the prize we must be able to contact the entrant and the nominee must be available to speak to our presenter on air.
3.4 The nominated person (‘The winner’) will need to be available to receive the prize during the allocated period preferably at their place of work. However if their place of work is outside the M25 a delivery address within the M25 will need to be provided.
