Next up it’s another appearance for Rihanna. She’s the only artist to feature twice in our countdown. Her tune with Calvin Harris 'We Found Love' spent 4 weeks at number 1 in October 2011, and was on the chart for 8 months! In our countdown of the biggest tunes of the decade it’s at number 7.
At 6, it’s the tune that’s spent a huge 47 weeks on the chart. The story behind this one is a bit special because it first charted on the 20th February 2011 at number 8. That same week the song at number 1 was the same song, but a stunning live version performed at the BRIT Awards earlier that week.
Next it’s a track from August 2011 and it’s the song that spent the longest on our chart at a huge 49 weeks, finally falling out of our top 40 in July 2012. Three weeks of that were spent at number 1 for Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera with ‘Moves Like Jagger’.
At 4, it’s a tune that spent 4 weeks at number 1 in December 2013. In fact, it’s managed to climb back to the top spot 3 times! It’s also the only tune inside our top 10 of the last 10 years that is currently in our chart.
This tune spent 31 weeks on the Big Top 40 after charting in January 2012 and is one of two songs in our top 10 of the last decade which has spent 6 weeks at number 1. This ended up being number 1 on our chart of the year back in 2012.

Which means the biggest selling song of all time on iTunes in the UK is a song which spent 6 weeks at number 1 back in May 2013 and hung around for over HALF a YEAR. It's Robin Thickes infectious chat-topping classic 'Blurred Lines'.
