Robbie Williams And Taylor Swift To Play Capital FM Summertime Ball 2013 Today

The Capital FM event will also boast live performances from the likes of The Wanted, Jessie J and Olly Murs.

The Capital FM Summertime Ball 2013 is finally here and kicks off later today (9th June) live from Wembley Stadium in London.

Excitement has been building for months as some of the biggest names in music prepare to take to the iconic Wembley stage to entertain 80,000 screaming fans at the sold-out extravaganza, which is hosted by worldwide megastar Justin Timberlake.

Capital FM, Capital TV and CapitalFM.com will be coming live from the Summertime Ball throughout the day with exclusive news, content and pictures from one of the most anticipated event in music, as the likes of Taylor Swift, Robbie Williams and The Wanted all head out to perform for their fans.

Legendary UK singer Robbie Williams will make his arrival at the Summertime Ball today fresh from his huge success with 2012 album 'Take The Crown', and is bound to entertain with performances of recent hits like 'Candy' as well as some of his classic pop anthems.

Anticipation is also high for US superstar Taylor Swift's performance, following an endless string of massive singles in recent times including '22', 'I Knew You Were Trouble' and the unstoppable 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'.

One of the most talked about moments for this year's Capital FM event is expected to be The Wanted's appearance, as fans continue to speculate whether band member Nathan Sykes will make his return following his throat surgery earlier this year.

Jessie J will be playing her third Summertime Ball in a row later today, fresh from storming up the charts with her new single 'Wild' featuring Big Sean and Dizzee Rascal, and the 'Domino' singer never fails to put on a good show when she gets out on that Wembley stage.

Lawson have had a huge year in music and will celebrate their success with debut album 'Chapman Square' by making their return to the Ball exactly one year after their debut back in 2012, and the 'Taking Over Me' four-piece have promised some 'special surprises" in their set.

One of the most memorable moments of this year's event will undoubtedly be K-Pop star PSY's appearance, with hits like 'Gangnam Style' and 'Gentleman' having pushed him to to the forefront of the music world, while 'Scream & Shout' rapper will.i.am will be bringing his unique style to the Summertime Ball party.

Homegrown UK superstars Olly Murs, The Saturdays, Labrinth and Rizzle Kicks will also be performed live for the sold-out stadium audience, when they bring their unique flavours of hit-ladden pop to the forefront.

The Summertime Ball 2013 will also be showcasing some of the freshest talent in the music industry right now with acts like Disclosure, Union J, Loveable Rogues, AlunaGeorge, Rudimental Charlie Brown, Duke Dumont, Naughty Boy and James Arthur all due to thrill the Wembley Stadium crowd.
