A rival parcel company could offer jobs to dozens of City Link workers in Nottingham after the company collapsed over Christmas.

Thousands of people lost their jobs over the holidays when the courier company went into administration and no buyer was found.

Prioritise City Link

APC say they want to take some of their workers on by making 100 jobs available to them.

APC CEO, Karl Brown, told Capital:

'This is an extremely difficult time for City Link staff members and their families.

'Following discussions with board members we've made the decision to prioritise City Link staff for the job vacancies we currently have on offer.'
