Bestwood Park: Murder Charge

A 23-year-old woman has been charged following the death of a seven-year-old girl in Bestwood Park.
Kay-Ann Morris, of Beckhampton Road in Bestwood Park, is charged with murder. She will remain in police custody until her appearance before Nottingham magistrates tomorrow.
The girl, whose body was discovered at a house in Beckhampton Road on Thursday, hasn't been formally identified yet.
A Home Office post-mortem examination established the preliminary cause of death to be a head injury.
A 47-year-old man, who was also arrested in connection with the death, has been released without further action.
