Olympian support for our charity runners

Help a Capital Child is really pleased to announce that Olympian marathon runner Liz Yelling and her husband, endurance trainer, Martin Yelling (PhD) will be joining our team! Liz and Martin will be offering training and nutrition advice to all our charity runners as part of our 5* package of support and care.

Liz Yelling is a two time British Olympian in the marathon, a multiple National Champion and Commonwealth bronze medalist. She has a personal best of 2hrs28mins and has completed marathons across the world. Liz is a down to earth and approachable coach to runners of all abilities and aspirations and has helped many first time marathoners achieve their goals. Liz is a regular contributor in media, TV and magazines and a running ambassador for adidas and Lucozade.

Martin Yelling (PhD) is an experienced coach with a passion for helping people achieve more than they think is possible.  Martin has helped runners from first time finishers to PB chasers.  He is the founder and co-host of the UK number 1 running podcast Marathon Talk and a regular writer, speaker and presenter on healthy, fitness and performance.
