Donate your mobile phone
Are you one of over one million people in the UK who got a new mobile phone for Christmas?
If so, you could help make a difference to missing and runaway children in London by donating your old phone handset to the Capital Christmas Appeal.
Please be quick, as for every phone donated before 9th January Help a London Child will receive at least £3.
£3 will allow the new Runaway Helpline text service to respond to 20 messages from children and young people: providing confidential advice; offering alternatives to running away and solutions for getting off the streets.
You still have all week to organise a mobile phone collection at work, to look in all your drawers and cupboards at home for any old handsets and ask your friends and family to do the same.
We need your phones BEFORE 9th January 2009!
How to donate your phone

If you don’t write ‘Help a London Child’ on the envelope or in a slip inside, we won’t get your phone!
