Chelsea players visit Help a London Child Project

Children at the Lady Allen Adventure Playground in Wandsworth got a special festive treat when Chelsea players made an appearance at their Christmas party.

John Terry , Didier Drogba, Michael Ballack, Petr Cech and friends dropped by, bearing gifts and handing out autographs.

Lady Allen Adventure Playground, which receives funding from 95.8 Capital FM’s Help a London Child, provides play opportunities and support for local children and young people with learning disabilities. 

Chelsea FC supported Capital’s Christmas Appeal for Help a London Child, which raised over £290,000 and the players were keen to see how this money makes a difference to disadvantaged children in our city.

  4. Thank you to all at Capital/Help a London Child. My son Joel attends Lady Allen Playground in Wandsworth. 22/12/09 thanx to Chelsea Football Club his dream came true. He got to meet his heros. The joy and excitement the team gave will last forever, and the happieness will spread to all over christmas. a huge and heart felt thank you.
