1. Help A London Child

All 2-Gether Now kicks off at White Hart Lane

The Tottenham Hotspur Foundation’s All 2-Gether Now programme provides school and college staff with general disability awareness training, and aims to include disabled children and young people in a variety of mainstream and specific disability sports.

Spurs player Jermaine Jenas said: “This is an extremely positive project that I fully support. Taking part in sport is a great way for people to keep fit and healthy, and All 2-gether Now gives people with a range of disabilities the opportunity to do just that. I was only too happy to go on air and let the people of London know exactly what football clubs like Spurs are doing to support Capital’s Help a London Child.”

The project kicked off at White Hart Lane in November, when 35 year 10 young leaders from the East Barnet partnership took part in a training day.

James Isaac, Tottenham Hotspur Foundation Disability Inclusion Manager said: "The project will deliver a new dimension to social inclusion within sport for young people with disability. This is the first project of its kind to be run by a football club and the first training session across all four boroughs involved. As part of the scheme students will be deployed to schools to assist with disabled pupils in after school clubs."

The ALL 2-gether Now project is delivered by the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, with the help of Arsenal in the Community, on behalf of Pro-Active North London and the London Sports Forum For Disabled People. The project is supported by the Haringey Special Schools Sports Co-ordinator Programme.

The project is also coaching staff at primary, secondary and special schools, colleges and universities in Haringey, Enfield, Barnet and Waltham Forest.
