Ed Sheeran Wins Best British Breakthrough At BRIT Awards 2012

The 'Lego House' singer also performed at tonight's BRITs ceremony in London.

Ed Sheeran has won his second award at tonight's BRIT Awards 2012 (21st February) after being named Best British Breakthrough at London's O2 Arena.

The 'A Team' singer-songwriter picked up the award over the likes of Jessie J, Emeli Sande, Anna Calvi and The Vaccines.

Earlier in the evening Ed Sheeran also accepted the BRIT Award for Best British Male, after being named recipient over nominees including Professor Green and James Morrison.

The 'Lego House' singer took to the stage and thank fans for supporting him, while being presented with the gong by Barcelona footballer Cesc Fabregas and Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton.

Ed Sheeran also performed at the BRITs 2012 when he took to the O2 Arena stage to give an emotional performance of his hit single 'Lego House'.
