Six Hospitalised After Brum Bus Crash

Six people in are hospital after a double bus crash on Saturday.

The drivers of the buses have been seriously injured along with four passengers.

It happened on Addison Road in Kings Heath on Saturday lunchtime - there's CCTV circling online showing the moment the single decker and double decker went head on. 

In total, 13 patients were assessed by West Midlands Ambulance Service, seven of whom were discharged on scene.

A WMAS spokesman said: “Both men appear to have escaped serious injuries which given the significance of the collision is extremely fortunate.

“All six patients who were taken to hospital were done so by land ambulance.

“The remaining seven patients were discharged at scene.”
