Police in Solihull say they're looking for the occupants of a car that stopped at the scene of a crash in which a biker died.
Steven McCarthy, 48, from Birmingham suffered fatal head injuries after falling from his bike and hitting the central reservation on the A45 Coventry Road on 21 May.
It happened near the junction with Catherine-de-Barnes Lane at around 12.15pm and investigators are appealing for witnesses who have not already come forward to contact police.
Officers particularly want to speak to a man and woman from a dark-coloured SUV-type car which was not involved in the collision but stopped to offer immediate help to Mr McCarthy.
Sergeant Alan Wood, from the Regional Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Steven’s family are understandably devastated by his death and we owe it to them to establish exactly what happened.
"Steven was riding his grey Suzuki 650 motorbike along the A45 towards Birmingham and we continue to keep an open mind around why this collision happened.
"A number of people stopped at the scene to help and have assisted us with our investigation, but we are particularly keen to speak to the occupants of a dark SUV to get in touch as they may have vital information."
A 22-year-old woman - and a man aged 19 - were arrested in connection with the collision and have been released pending further investigation.
