Investigating officer DC Mel Boon, from Coventry Police, said: "We believe the group of men who approached the victim were ejected from the nightclub earlier in the night.
I am very keen to find Tyron Price in connection with the attack and I want to hear from him or anyone who knows where he may be. I would urge anyone who can help find him to come forward and speak to us.
The victim's injuries were horrendous but they could have been much worse and we need to ensure the person responsible is brought to justice."
