Police searching for missing Lidia Pascale in West Brom have found a woman's body in a wheelie bin.
Yesterday officers and sniffer dogs were called in to search open land following her disappearance.
She was last seen alive on the evening of November the 19th.
Matthew Cherrington, 32 and Thomas Ricketts, 37, have been charged with Lidia’s murder and have been remanded whilst enquiries are ongoing.
Chief Superintendent Mark Payne, from the force’s CID, said: “Following searches of the local area we can confirm that today we have found a body of a woman.
“An area of Hope Street has been cordoned off whilst forensic experts search the area.
“We are still in the early stages of identifying the woman.
“I would also like to take this opportunity to urge anyone in the area who saw any suspicious activity recently to call me or one of the team. No matter how insignificant you feel the information you have is, I want to hear from you.
“Specialist officers will continue to liaise with Lidia’s family and our thoughts are with them at this sad time."
Anyone with information is urged to call West Midlands Police on 101. Alternatively people can leave information anonymously by calling Crimestoppers the independent charity on 0800 555 111.
