Detectives are appealing for help to identify two people captured on CCTV following a disorder outside a Wolverhampton bar earlier this year.

Officers launched an investigation after two women turned up at the city’s police station in the early hours of 21st of April.

Both of the women, aged 31 and 35, were injured and one of them was treated in hospital for a suspected fractured eye socket.

It is not clear how they came to sustain their injuries but the alleged incident is thought to have happened outside Yates’s on Queen Square at around 5am.

DC Faye Martin, from Force CID, explained: "We’re not 100 per cent sure about exactly what happened on the morning of 21 April but we do know that two people were left injured.

"I’m keen to find the two women in these CCTV images as I believe they could have vital information to help us solve this case.

"We’ve already been following numerous lines of enquiry after receiving possible identifications but the investigation has now reached a stage where we are turning to the public for help."

Call DC Faye Martin on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 if you recognise either of them.
