The 'Traktor' rapper reveals he has been texting the band's frontman about working together in the future.

Wretch 32 has admitted that he could be set to collaborate with Coldplay's Chris Martin.

The 'Don't Go' star told Muzu that he is a massive fan of the band and has been speaking with the 'Paradise' singer via text message over a possible team-up.

"Me and Chris Martin spoke about a record. Over text, actually," he confessed. "So hopefully that will be massive. I'm a massive fan of Coldplay."

The London-based rapper revealed that he has attempted to reach out to stars in the past – and sometimes collaborations don't always come to fruition.

"That's the one thing that's probably the hardest to say. You just never know. There's some records that I've sent to artist, that might not be feeling it. There's probably something massive in the pipeline that I don't even know about yet," he admitted. "You never know - it's random in this business."

Chris has previously worked with rap star's in the past, including Jay-Z and Kanye West and Coldplay are set to co-headline a New year's Eve show with the '99 Problems' star next month.

Wretch is currently working on his new studio album and the follow up to 2011's 'Black And White'.
