The 'Orthodox' rapper has been included on this year's list of London's rich and powerful.

Wretch 32 and Adele have made it onto the Evening Standard's list of London's 1000 Most Influential People of 2011.

The Tottenham grime rapper, whose real name is Jermaine Scott, was praised for achieving his first UK number one single 'Let's Go' in August as well as for the positive reception of his debut album 'Black and White'.

'Rolling In The Deep' singer Adele also featured on the list thanks to the impressive global sales of her second album '21' and a string of successful singles including 'Someone Like You' and 'Set Fire To The Rain'.

The Pop & Rock section of the list included London rapper Tinie Tempah, frontwoman Florence Welch and Coldplay's Chris Martin.

It was confirmed earlier today that Wretch 32 filmed a cameo appearance for Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks during a recent London performance.

The 'Forgiveness' rapper will join JLS, One Direction and Jessie J on the bill for day two of the Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball on 4th December.
