The 'Great Times' star speaks to capital about his duet on '3 Words' at London's O2 Arena.
Will.i.am has confessed that he was forced to stare into the crowd during his surprise performance with Cheryl Cole at last night's (8th December) Jingle Bell Ball 2012.
The Black Eyed Peas man came on stage at London's O2 Arena for a duet of '3 Words' and said the Girls Aloud singer's outfit was "pretty crazy".
"She was looking pretty hot on stage so I had to look at the crowd because I didn't want to look at her bodysuit – her bodysuit was pretty crazy," he told Capital FM following the performance.
Cheryl's outfit was made up of a figure-hugging tuxedo-style jumpsuit as she wowed on stage for her solo performance.
The singer will be back on stage today (9th December) for day two of the event, alongside her Girls Aloud bandmates.
Other acts set to perform on the final day of the music extravaganza include Conor Maynard, Rita Ora and Pink.
Bruno Mars, One Direction and JLS were all among the star performers of night one, which was brought to a triumphant close by the 'Locked Out Of Heaven' singer.
