Will.i.am And Britney Spears Score First Vodafone Big Top 40 Number One Of 2013

The rapper's latest '#willpower' release has risen up to take the number one spot on the chart.

Will.i.am and Britney Spears have taken the first number one of 2013 with their team-up single on the Vodafone Big Top 40.

The 'This Is Love' rapper's latest single 'Scream & Shout', which features US superstar Britney Spears, climbed up one place this evening (6th January) to take the top spot on this week's chart.

James Arthur's debut single 'Impossible', a two-time number one on the chart, drops to number two while Taylor Swift's single 'I Knew You Were Trouble' climbs one place to number three.

Rihanna's second 'Unapologetic' single 'Stay', featuring Mikky Ekko, climbs four places to number four on the Big Top 40 chart while former number one 'Locked Out Of Heaven' by Bruno Mars rounds out the top five songs of the week.
