Britney Spears Says Will.i.am "Gets" Our Generation: "His Energy Is Electric"
The 'I Wanna Go' star says the rapper is a "charmer" who she loves getting to work with.
Britney Spears has praised Will.i.am fresh from the release of his new album '#willpower', and says the Black Eyed Peas star "gets our generation' and their taste in music.
The 'Criminal' singer recently worked with the rapper on his recent single 'Scream & Shout' and says recording the song's music video was "one of the coolest experiences" she has had, and described the US star as "a charmer".
"You know, I've always been a huge fan of Will," Britney said, during a Google Hangout to promote the new album's release. "I just think he gets our generation of people and what they want to hear musically.
"So when he asked me to do ['Scream & Shout'] with him I was just really stoked, so excited," she explained, before going on to discuss the song's popular music video.
"It was really, really cool. It was probably one of the coolest experiences I've ever had," Britney revealed. "Actually, you know, it's a totally different thing to be on camera with Will than it is to be in the actual studio.
"His energy is just electric and he's a charmer," she added.

Will.i.am was similarly complimentary about the 'I Wanna Go' singer, and says working in the recording studio with her is like being with his band, Black Eyed Peas.
"I had so much fun in the studio with Britney," he explained. "Being in the studio with Britney, it's like being in the studio with me and [apl.de.ap] and the Black Eyed Peas, it's just so much love."
The two recently confirmed plans to head back into the recording studio together to work on a new song for Britney's eighth album .
