The 'Numb' singer tells Capital he enjoys getting to hang out with 'Pass Out' rapper Tinie when he can.
Usher says it was a "real surprise" getting to celebrate his birthday over the weekend with the likes of Tinie Tempah and Dizzee Rascal during his stay in London.
The 'Climax' singer turned 34 years old last weekend and was joined by stars including JLS, Leona Lewis and 'Invincible' rapper Tinie Tempah for a star-studded party at London venue La Bodega Negra.
"Yeah I partied. And I ate a lot," Usher revealed to Capital, fresh from the his birthday do. "Tinie came out!
Usher went on to explain that, although he and Tinie have only met once or twice, they always get on well when they get to hang out together.
"There's two times that we've been able to meet up within the last year," Usher revealed. "Actually while making the album we passed each other in New York City and we hung out.
"So, yeah, it's nice, and it was a real surprise to walk down the stairs and there they were," Usher added at the launch of Dance Central 3. "I was happy to see the crew.
Tinie later wished Usher happy birthday on Twitter and posted up a picture of the two celebrating last night.
"Happy Birthday brotherrrrrr!!!!!!! @UsherRaymondIV," Tinie tweeted, alongside a picture of himself and Usher seen below (Credit: Twitter):
JLS star Oritse Williams also turned out for the occasion and thanked Usher for giving him some music career advice.
"Happy birthday @UsherRaymondIV! Thank you for your words of wisdom!" Oritse posted.

Usher recently postponed all dates on the European leg of his 'Euphoria' tour next year, after signing on to star as a panelist on The Voice US in 2013.
