11-year-old Kyle Glover sustained the serious head injuries when he was hit with a jet ski whilst riding on an inner tube this past Friday (6th July).
The child is the son of the 'Climax' singer's ex-wife Tameka Raymond - who he also has two sons of his own with.
"Basically, a pontoon was pulling two juveniles on an inner tube, and the watercraft ran over the top of them," Sgt. Mike Burgamy with the Georgia Department of Natural Resources told New York Daily News.
The publication reports that the unnamed girl who was also on board was rescued face down in the water at the time of the accident.
"One minute the jet ski was running around, the next he ran over the top of them," added the officer. "It happened that quickly. "
