The 'Young' singer says she always thought Dannii was a great judge on the ITV1 talent show.

Tulisa Contostavlos says she thinks her and Dannii Minogue would get on well were the Australian pop singer to return to The X Factor this year.

Yesterday (30th April) it was confirmed that 2011 judge Kelly Rowland would not be returning to the ITV1 show's judging panel this year, meaning there is an open spot for a new judge to sit alongside returning panelists Tulisa, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh.

The 'Young' singer says she would love to see Dannii return the The X Factor, following her previous stint as a judge between 2007 and 2010.

"I used to watch X Factor before I got on the panel," Tulisa revealed to ITV's Daybreak this week. "I always thought Dannii was great and I'm sure we'd get on really well.

"We're just waiting to find out who the fourth person is but they won't tell me because everyone is going to ask," the N-Dubz star explained. "I've been ringing up the producers going, 'Who is it? Who is it?', and they're like, 'Tulisa, you know we can't tell you that!'"

On Sunday (28th April) Tulisa scored her first solo number one away from N-Dubz when her debut single 'Young' shot straight to the top spot on the Vodafone Big Top 40.

Tulisa Contostavlos is due to perform her current single 'Young' on this weekend's edition of Britain's Got Talent.
