Tulisa Overcomes Illness To Kick Off The X Factor Boot Camp In Liverpool

The 'Young' singer was all smiles as she joined fellow judges, including Nicole Scherzinger, at the first boot camp.

Tulisa Contostavlos was all smiles as she returned to the limelight at The X Factor boot camp yesterday (17th July) after recovering from illness.

The 'Young' singer was forced to cancel a festival appearance at the last minute on Sunday (15th July) because she was feeling "really unwell".

Organiser of the show David Scott said Tulisa's team had contacted the festival shortly before she was due to go on stage to let them know that she would not be able to perform.

"I think she was genuinely upset at not being able to perform but if somebody is not very well, they are not very well," he said. "You have to be 100% when you get up on the stage."

Tulisa, who celebrated her 24th birthday last week, also apologised and wrote on her Twitter account that she hated letting her fans down.

But the N-Dubz star looked back to her best at The X Factor boot camp on Tuesday.

Wearing a snow leopard print baseball jacket and leather hot pants, the newly blonde singer was all smiles as she left the first day of boot camp.

Fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger and The Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack were also spotted out and about in Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Tulisa recently shot the video for her next single, which will be taken from her forthcoming debut solo album.
