Tulisa Contostavlos Confirms Her Next Solo Single Will Be A Ballad

The X Factor UK judge wanted to release a ballad as her next release to show a different side of herself.

Tulisa Contostavlos has confirmed plans to release a ballad as her third solo single.

The 'Young' singer revealed the news during an appearance on ITV breakfast show Lorraine earlier today (11th September), where she said that every track from her debut album represents a part of herself.

"I mean, all of them are 'me'," Tulisa told host Lorraine Kelly. "'Young' was a kind of Ibiza baby track, so there's a part of that song that's me.

"And then with [Live It Up' it's slightly more urban, and the next one's going to be a ballad, which is also me," Tulisa explained. "it's just all music that I feel I can relate to and express myself with."

The X Factor UK judge also said she feels "a lot more relaxed" these days with her position as a pop star and role model to young girls, claiming she decided a while ago to be "a bit laid back" about all the stories written about herself.

Tulisa was later pictured leaving the ITV studios after her appearances this morning wearing a short floral style skirt and a bright fuchsia coloured vest top.
