Capital FM takes a look at the pop career of The Wanted's Tom Parker so far.
Tom Parker was born on 4th August 1988 making him 23 years-old. The 'Warzone' singer was raised in Bolton, England and formed one fifth of The Wanted alongside Max George, Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuiness.
Before joining up with his fellow band members in The Wanted back in 2009, Tom tried his luck at being a singer by performing as part of Take That tribute act across the north of England.

Since emerging onto the pop scene in mid-2010, The Wanted have already received two BRIT Awards nominations. The 'Lighting' singers have been nominated twice for Best British Single, once in 2011 for 'All Time Low' and again in 2012 for their Vodafone Big Top 40 number one single 'Glad You Came'.
The Wanted are regular performers at Capital's Summertime and Jingle Bell Balls. The 'Battleground' singers played both events in 2010 and 2011, most recently performing at the Jingle Bell Ball 2011, where they made their way to the stage through the sold-out O2 Arena crowd much to the delight of the audience.

Since joining The Wanted Tom can lay claim to having both his own bobblehead figure and his own doll, after The Wanted launched their own doll range in early 2012.
Like the rest of his band mates Tom is a keen user of Twitter and often posts exclusive news, updates and pictures on the social networking sites for the band's "fanmily" of fans. "Everything's bigger in Texas!!" - Tom Parker. Picture: Twitter
The five-piece band celebrated in February 2012 after their first US single 'Glad You Came' rose to number five on the US Billboard Top 100, and later rose to number four in March after the hit musical series Glee used the track in one episode.
