It's been a whirlwind year for the 'Glad You Came' band, including everything from cracking America to supporting Justin Bieber in concert, so join Capital as we take a look at The Wanted's top 20 moments of 2012.

The start of 2012 saw The Wanted boys return with brand new merchandise, fresh from their success with second album 'Battleground', in the form of a new range of dolls made in the likenesses of band members Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Nathan Sykes, Tom Parker and Jay McGuiness.
The Wanted got a healthy dose of publicity earlier this year when their first US release 'Glad You Came' was covered on Fox' popular musical series Glee. The UK band's huge worldwide hit was covered by Glee cast member Grant Gustin, who plays Sebastian Smythe, and series antagonists The Warblers.
The Wanted's mission to break America became a resounding success earlier this year when their first single made a huge impression on the US Billboard Hot 100, as well as topping the US iTunes Pop Chart after heavy airplay and sales across the country.
The Wanted's success was in no way limited to the US in 2012 as the five boys performed a string of 16 huge dates on their 'The Code' arena tour up and down the country to support 2011 album 'Battleground', which even included a surprise medley of Coldplay covers much to the delight of the band's fans.
The 'Warzone' five-piece celebrated their massive chart success with 'Glad You Came' by performing the song live on popular series The Today Show during their US stay this year.
Max, Jay, Siva, Tom and Nathan performed at this year's Billboard Music Awards back in May in a hugely well received set of their hits 'Glad You Came' and 'Chasing The Sun', in the process cementing themselves as one of the UK's hottest exports in years.
The 'All Time Low' stars scored a huge victory in their battle to conquer America when their first EP, the self-titled 'The Wanted' cracked the top ten albums on the US Billboard Top 200 chart.
The band made their triumphant UK return in June when they brought out all of their hits to thrill the 80,000 strong audience at Wembley Stadium for Capital's Summertime Ball, sharing a bill with the likes of Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen and Katy Perry.
The 'Glad You Came' singers got the great honour of being one of the official torch bearers for this year's sporting event, held in the UK, and were all smiles while carrying the torch as part of the London 2012 Olympic Relay.
The five-piece's new 2012 single 'Chasing The Sun' was featured on new DreamWorks Animation Ice Age 4: Continental Drift, and the boys got into the spirit of things with a polar themed video for the single after its US release.
The Wanted issued a massive thank you to their fans in the US after 'Glad You Came' was declared triple platinum after huge sales across the pond. The 'Lightning' band were even presented with a surprise trophy to mark the honour by their record label during a performance out in the States.

Just as the election race was starting to heat up at the end of summer, the UK band got the chance to meet and talk with US President Obama's wife, the First Lady herself Michelle Obama!
After serving as official torchbearers earlier in the year The Wanted got to help celebrate the end of the Olympic Torch Relay with a special performance at the finale concert in London's Hyde Park.
The 'Chasing The Sun' stars got the chance to attend and present an award at prestigious music event the MTV Video Music Awards in September this year and turned out in smart suits as they rubbed shoulders with pop royalty all evening.
The 'Lightning' five-piece returned with a brand new single in Autumn and gave the well-received track a suitably dark video that sees Nathan take center stage as the band seemingly attempt to save a woman who has been abducted. However, things aren't always what they seem!
The UK band made their debut at the AMAs by performing their new single 'I Found You' live at the event in November this year, later describing the performance as one of the most memorable moments of their career to date.
The 'I Found You' band said they were "honoured" after getting to open for worldwide superstar Justin Bieber for several shows on his 'Believe' tour in December 2012, including several shows at New York's iconic venue Madison Square Garden!
