The Wanted's Tom Parker Thanks Fans For 'Chasing The Sun' Single Support

The 'Lighting' singer says the fan support of their new single means so much to the band.

The Wanted's Tom Parker has thanked the band's fans for their support of new single 'Chasing The Sun'.

The 'Glad You Came' singers launched their latest single last Sunday (20th May) reaching number two on the Vodafone Big Top 40, and retained a strong position within the top five for their second week on the chart yesterday (27th May).

"Thanks to everyone that went and downloaded the single. It really means a lot to us. Love you all xx," Tom tweeted last night, while Siva Kaneswaran also posted: "A lot of support from fans all over the world! Love readying your tweets."

The band also tweeted out to their fan base as a whole: "Thanks for a lll your messages of support whatever happens we feel very proud and lucky to have such great fans x."

Last weekend The Wanted took to the stage at the Billboard Music Awards 2012 to give performances of both 'Glad You Came' and 'Chasing The Sun', while the band will also perform at the Capital FM Summertime Ball on 9th June alongside acts including Justin Bieber, Usher and Katy Perry.
