The UK band say fans will be able to get to know them a lot better from watching the new documentary.
The Wanted have opened up about their new reality show on US network E! and promised fans they will get to see "the ins and outs' of the band's relationships and personalities.
The 'Walks Like Rihanna' five-piece, who officially launch The Wanted Life on E! later this month, also say it will help them reach a new audience by showing them what the band is like beyond their music.
"Obviously we're trying to utilise this as a tool to get music out there," band member Jay McGuiness revealed to Billboard this week. "Also, if people care about the people who are singing they pay more attention to the songs when they come out.
"[Fans will get to see] the ins and outs of our personalities and relationships," he continued. "And these songs will be the soundtrack of our lives at this point."
Fellow The Wanted star Max George admits it took some getting used to having to all live together in a big mansion out in Los Angeles while filming the E! series.
"Living in a huge mansion together did take some getting used to," Max explained. "Having your bandmates around you all the time was strange.
"When we watch it back, we'll see a bit and say, 'That was awesome', and see another bit and say, 'Oh my God'!"
