The 'Lightning' band have revealed it was "cool" to work with the 'Sorry For Party Rocking' duo.

The Wanted have teased their upcoming collaboration with LMFAO and say the music they have recorded together is "insane".

The 'Chasing The Sun' stars recently confirmed they have been in the studio with the 'Sexy And I Know It' duo during sessions for their upcoming third studio album, and have revealed some of the first details about their team-up this week.

"Real, real, cool guys, and their production on tracks is just insane," The Wanted's Nathan Sykes revealed to MTV News. "They've just been off to Brazil and they came back with all these new fresh sounds.

"It was cool working with them," he explained, before suggesting the collaboration still might not make their upcoming record. "I'm not sure if the sounds are a bit too wild to go on this album, but it was a great experience."

The 'Glad You Came' stars have also recorded collaborations for the follow-up to 2011's 'Battlground' with the likes of Rita Ora and Dappy, but have yet to confirm if the team-up's will definitely feature on the track listing or when fans can expect a confirmed release date for the album.
