The 'Lightning' singers say they were "starstruck" after getting to meet the 49 year-old professional boxer.
The Wanted have told of their excitement after getting the chance boxing legend Evander Holyfield during their current tour of the US.
The 'Warzone' singers uploaded a picture of them all posing with the former undisputed world heavyweight champion earlier today.
"Made friends with Evander Holyfield today!" The five-piece band tweeted this afternoon (7th February).
"Just about to meet Evander Holyfield #starstruck!!" singer Max George also posted.
It was also announced this week that The Wanted's current US single, and former Vodafone Big Top 40 number one, 'Glad You Came' will be featured in an upcoming episode of FOX musical series Glee .
The Wanted are due to continue their US jaunt with a performance tonight at the House of Blue in San Diego, California before wrapping the tour with a gig at The Roxy in Los Angeles tomorrow (8th February).
