The Wanted To Play The Ellen DeGeneres Show In US

The 'Lightning' stars will appear on the hugely popular chat show as they bid to crack America.

The Wanted are set to appear on the Ellen DeGeneres chat show in America this Monday (9^th January) which will be shown on TV the following day.

The 'Glad You Came' singers announced the details on their Twitter accounts in the early hours of this morning and couldn't contain their excitement.

Singer Max George tweeted: "Its official peeps,The Wanted are coming to the US in 2 days to perform on @TheEllenShow monday, airing tuesday!!...everyone come see us!!!!"

Siva Kaneswaran also added: "You heard right! We are going to be on the @theellenshow monday ... Airing Tuesday! Can't wait! Who's coming down to the studio to see us?"

There was equal excitement from Jay McGuiness who was still in a world of shock as he tweeted: "So, @TheEllenShow huh? How and when did THIS become my f***** life?! See you LA peeps on Monday, and the rest of America on Tuesday #WHAT?!"

After retweeting several fans' positive comments, Nathan Sykes simply stated: "#BUZZIN!!!!!!!"

The news follows the announcement of US tour dates which will see the band head out for ten shows starting on the 17th Januray.

Meanwhile, rapper Example recently offered his praise to the boy band and tips them for huge success in America.
