Max George Joins Robin Van Persie And Joe Hart For Alicia Keys Manchester Cathedral Gig

The Wanted singer was in attendance for the US star's recent show at the historic venue.

The Wanted singer Max George joined a host of celebrity guests including players from Manchester United and City to watch Alicia Keys perform at the Manchester Cathedral this week.

The 'Glad You Came' singer was dressed smartly in a grey jumper and black skinny jeans for the event as he posed for photographers on the red carpet.

The US star was performing tracks from her new album 'Girl On Fire' for the first time at the MTV Crashes Manchester event.

Following the performance, she took to her Twitter account to thank those in attendance and praised the historic venue.

"Lovin Manchester! Incredible place , spectacular vibe!! Thank u for rockin w me!," she tweeted.

Other guests at the show included football stars David Silva, Alexander Buttner and Raheem Sterling.

Meanwhile, Alicia will be performing at the iTunes Festival 2012 this week as she headlines the Roundhouse in Camden on Friday (28th September).

Alicia Keys will release her new album 'Girl On Fire' on 27th November and is set to host her annual Black Ball charity event in November, which will feature performances by the likes of Beyonce.
