The 'I Found You' singers say they have been making plans for a brand new tour around the world next year.

The Wanted have confirmed plans to launch a new world tour in 2013 to promote their upcoming third studio album.

Band member Tom Parker revealed on Twitter that he and bandmates Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Nathan Sykes and Jay McGuiness are already putting initial plans together for their next globe-trotting jaunt.

"Putting together plans for the world tour next year," Tom tweeted last night (22nd November). "Erm… excited isn't the word!"

The UK band have been making waves across the US in particular over the past year after the release of their self-titled US debut 'The Wanted', as well as scoring a huge Billboard chart hit with 'Glad You Came'.

This week The Wanted were back in America where they performed as part of the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in New York City, singing new single 'I Found You' while backed by a number of school children who joined them on the float.
