Strip That Down Liam Payne feat. Quavo Download 'Strip That Down' on iTunes
It's official - The Vamps are back working on new music for their brand new second studio album and we could NOT be more excited. Here's everything we do (and don't know) about their next record.
In February the boys apologised to fans for being late with their Valentine's Day message because they'd been in the studio. We reckon they'll let you off with this one, chaps!
In an interview in late 2014 Brad confirmed the boys will be involved EVERY step of the way this time around. Which can only mean good things! "We had loads of control over the first album, but we did have co-writers. Whereas I think for the next one we're going to have a few weeks out as just us and then go demo it in the studio," he told Digital Spy. Picture: Instagram
"We'd love to write with people like Ed Sheeran," James told Digital Spy recently. James - we're TOTALLY with you on this once! Picture: Getty
Hunky James has made no secret of his adoration for 'Shake It Off' star Taylor. Could a cheeky reference to the blonde beauty make it into some of the song lyrics? Picture: Twitter
Sigma stopped by Capital recently where they revealed they would LOVE to work with The Vamps if the opportunity came up. "Our styles are so different ,but we are kind of open to anything really," they told us. MAKE IT HAPPEN! Picture: Internal
Judging from the boys' comments in December 2014, ANYTHING could happen on album two! "It was very different, like urban, one of them. I think it's good for us to just try everything and then when we get them back we will know what we want to do," the boys teased. Picture: Scott Salt
We could NOT get enough of Brad's beautiful cover of Jeff Buckley's 'Hallelujah' earlier this year. So much so we kinda want him to break our hearts all OVER again with another tear-jerker on the new record.
While The Vamps were a surprise feature on a cheeky version of Union J's 'You Got It All', we can't help but wonder if Josh, Jaymi, George and JJ will return the favour on the follow-up to 'Meet The Vamps'. Can you IMAGINE? Picture: Twitter
The boys say their latest single 'Hurricane', from a movie soundtrack, gives a good hint about where their sound will be going next. "It's a lot more live sounding compared to the first one, which is very clean-cut pop. We want to take that sound and put it into the second record a bit more," they told Digital Spy.
The boys have hinted in interviews that March is the month where they need to make some big decisions. So long for SOME sort of announcement soon after that! Picture: Instagram
Well, they DID manage to get Demi Lovato on the first record for 'Somebody To You'. And this would make a GREAT follow-up...
OK so this is PRETTY unlikely to happen, but just IMAGINE the music video to accompany a James McVey workout-style track? Are we right, ladies? Picture: Instagram
And fingers crossed they get a shout-out on the record too! Picture: Twitter
