The Noisettes Announce New Album 'Contact' And Single 'Winner'

The group also unveil a teaser for their new video, as well as the artwork for their third album.

The Noisettes have announced the release of their new album 'Contact' on 27th August.

The group – Dan Smith and Shingai Shoniwa – will precede the release of the album with the single 'Winner' on 13th August.

Shingai described 'Contact', which is the band's third album, as "like a film from beginning to end".

"The album starts with a big thirty piece orchestra and ends with just Dan and I singing and just the cackling of the wood and the flames of the fire for accompaniment," she said.

The 'Wild Young Hearts' singer added that the album was particularly person to her as it was written during her mother's successful battle with breast cancer.

The announcement of the band's album comes ahead of several festival dates, including their headline appearance at Blissfields in July.
