3 July 2012, 14:17

The Las Vegas stars have released the cover design for their latest track.

The Killers have released the cover artwork to accompany their new single 'Runaways'.

The image sees a bulb encrusted lightning bolt propped up in a dark Las Vegas desert with the title of the band and track in the top corners.

The single is the first to be lifted from their forthcoming new album 'Battle Born' which will be released this autumn.

Lead singer Brandon Flowers recently explained the title of their new album is a nickname for their home state, Nevada.

"In a sense, all Americans are battle born," he admitted. "Our ancestors came here for something better."

"It's living up to its title. This is our difficult fourth record," added drummer Ronnie Vanucci.

Tracks already confirmed to appear on the group's new album include 'Heart Of A Girl', 'Flesh And Bone' and 'Carry Me Home'.

The Killers new single 'Runaways' will be release on 10th July.
