The '22' singer's hit single has been given a new makeover by the duo in Boston.

Taylor Swift's smash hit single 'I Knew You Were Trouble' has been featured in a new viral clip by two violinists who perform the song on the subway.

Rhett Price and Josh Knowles gave a rendition of the track at the South Station in Boston.

The duo have been performing together for many years, and quit their jobs in 2010 to focus on music.

"Josh and I were like, 'I don't want to get a day job. I don't want to work in a mall," revealed Rhett to Boston.com. "I want to do music. So we got together and are working really hard to make it work."

Taylor's song has been featured in many viral clips, most notably a series of goat parodies.

Meanwhile, Taylor revealed earlier this year that the song was written about her former boyfriend Harry Styles.

The country singer also gave an emotional performance of the track during the BRIT Awards 2013 – with the One Direction man sat in the audience.
