The 'I Knew You Were Trouble' singer says she is 'really excited" to finally open her music school.

Taylor Swift opened her own new music school out in Nashville, Tennessee over the weekend fresh from accepting her Songwriter Of The Year award for the sixth time.

The '22' singer was there in person at the Nashville Country Music Hall Of Fame And Museum on Saturday (12th October) to cut the ribbon and officially open the new venture, which cost a reportedly $4 million to set up.

"I'm really excited about this music education centre and the fact that right now they have three different class going on today," Taylor said in a statement at the launch event. "It's really exciting that we can be here on a day when they're not only unveiling it, but they're starting to actively use it today.
