The 'Begin Again' singer has forgiven the Hollywood actor for comments about her career and relationships.

Taylor Swift has made amends with actor Michael J. Fox following the recent controversy caused by his comments about the US singer-songwriter.

'Love Story' singer Taylor was teased by Golden Globes host Tina Fey at last weekend's ceremony (13th January) after the comedian made light of Taylor's romantic troubles by warning her to "stay away from Michael J Fox's son".

However, Back To The Future star Michael was criticised by fans of Taylor after he made several negative comments about the young singer when asked about the Golden Globes incident.

"No, no, just back off," Michael told Vulture this week at a New York book party, when asked about Fey's comments. "I don't keep up with it all.

"But Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right?" Michael queried. "What a way to build a career."

'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' singer Taylor has now confirmed she and Michael have spoken and made sure there is no bad feeling between them.

"Hey everybody. Michael J. Fox got in touch with me today and we are good," Taylor tweeted last night (18th January). "Thank you for having my back."

The US star has had a number of high profile romances over the course of her career, most recently enjoying a relationship with One Direction star Harry Styles before the two split after their Caribbean holiday earlier this month.

Taylor Swift is now preparing to launch her 'Red' tour, with support from Ed Sheeran, which kicks off in Omaha, Nebraska on 13th March.
